Snohomish Wedding Guild Meeting at Olympic View Estates, Lake Stevens, WA

One of my favorite parts about being in the wedding industry is working alongside great professionals who all contribute their special talents to make wedding days go by smoothly.  Every other month I get together with some of my wedding industry friends at the Snohomish Wedding Guild meetings where we chat, we eat great food and talk shop. If you know anything about me you know that I love to talk about weddings and eat good food so it’s always a fun evening for me! This month’s meeting was held at Olympic View Estates in Lake Stevens and yours truly was in charge of the photography for the evening. I thought I’d share with you a few photos in case you are interested.

It was my first time at Olympic View Estates and I wasn’t all that sure what to expect as I drove through Lake Stevens, then as I pulled into their venue BAM there it was with it’s beautiful views over the valley. Trent and Pam are the owners of this relatively new venue and their fun and bubbly dispositions are just what you need to thrive (and survive) in the wedding industry 🙂 Jennifer from JDW Industries was the planner for the evening and pulled together a beautifully classy meeting with soft pale greens and whites being the color palette. Candi and Eli provided the yard games from their new lawn games rental company which we had fun with.The food was provided by one of my favorite caterers in the area – 12 Basket Catering. Great great food, thank you for feeding us so well Jaffrey and team! The flower arrangements were designed by Tiffany with Flowers by Tiffany and were beautiful as always. (I just published another blog post earlier today with a link to a wedding Tiffany and I did together so if you want to check that out you can here) There is no party without some beverages adult and otherwise and Janet and her team at Pour Girls served with a smile as they always do. I love listening to live music and Ian Skan…. serenaded us with his beautiful music all evening. You should check out his music he’s really good! Lastly Hey Sweets provided us all with deserts which were just delightful. Their lava cakes are just pure perfection. I don’t think you can beat the chocolate raspberry ones. I’ve been trying to eat much more healthy recently but if I am going to break my streak it’s going to be with one (or two) of these yummy cakes. I may or may not have one sitting right in front of me right now as I type, it’s about to be gobbled up and chased with a good old cup of English tea. Yes!!
