Roche Harbor is a truly unique wedding venue in the Pacific Northwest on San Juan Island. This historic seaside resort was built in 1886 and is nestled into the beautiful Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. Elyssa and Jake seriously lucked out with some phenomenal weather and it made for an absolutely stunning wedding day!

Here are some of my personal highlights from this lovely day:

• Most of their friends and family were staying at the resort so it made for a really intimate setting. This helped create a really relaxing vibe!
• Elyssa had a really special first look with her dad – they clearly have a very special relationship.
• Elyssa and Jake are really wonderful people and we had such a fun time exploring the grounds for its countless photo opportunities.
• The ocean views from the hotel were absolutely phenomenal and really made the day feel special.
• The pictures in front of Roche Harbor’s famous mausoleum were really cool – that place really gives of a Game of Thrones kind of vibe!
• I loved the bride and groom’s first dance in front of the roaring fire, it was very special and the dance party that followed was an absolute blast!
