What a fabulous wedding at JM Cellars in Woodinville, WA!  There were so many intricate details and moving parts in this wedding. C & M’s wedding planner, Rebecca from New Creations, did a great job keeping it all moving smoothly! The bride, Claire, was the life of the party, and looked so beautiful in her stunning dress by I Do Bridal, a local wedding dress shop here in Seattle.

JM Cellars is a unique wedding venue that embodies the charm of a Woodinville winery wedding. I love the distinctly PNW style of the patio area with twinkling lights, perfect for dusk. Designer Rebecca created beautiful table designs including stunning flowers and commissioned paintings on each table to commemorate places special to Mike and Claire. Other fun and personal touches were the oyster bar, which was a big hit, a magician (Nash Fung) walking around entertaining the guests and a live artist painting Claire’s bouquet during cocktail hour.

Here are couple of my personal highlights from the day:

• The table designs were amazing. The flowers were soft blues, pinks, whites, accentuated with eucalyptus and with the candles, linens and art work they were just beautiful.
• The mocktails were INCREDIBLE! And I say this as we were in the middle of Woodinville Wine Country – Probably the best drinks I’ve ever had. I’ll be hitting up Claire and Jan  at Party on the Rocks for the recipe when I get the chance!!
• Claire and Mike really wanted their dogs to be included, but since it was not possible, they represented them with custom dog pillows with their very own dogs’ printed on, and named two mocktails after them. How cute and clever!
• I’ve known Claire and her dear Mom (Mumma Jan as she is known in the industry) for a good while now and it was lovely to see them both so happy. It’s always an honor and a big responsibility to be asked by one of our own wedding industry colleagues to photograph their big day, and one I don’t take lightly. Huge congratulations to you Claire and Mike! Much love to you both!!
