Amy and Kenneth are both such fun, caring, and considerate people, that they turned what has been a difficult year for so many into a beautiful day of celebration of their love for one another and those around them. Willows Lodge in Woodinville, WA was the perfect place for their intimate wedding celebration. Amy and Kenneth were married on the Riverside Terrace, tucked away in the gardens at the lodge, and the intimate setting showed off their amazing connection to each other and their guests.

Getting to know this lovely couple, I found it inspirational how comfortable they are being their authentic selves, and it showed in the details and the events of their wedding. Instead of worrying about how weddings are ‘supposed’ to be celebrated, they chose all of the things that would make the day most memorable for them and their guests!

A couple of my own personal highlights from Amy & Kenneth’s wedding day:

• Amy’s wedding dress was absolutely beautiful. It was sparkly, shiny and complimented her unique style and character!
• I loved the relaxed atmosphere that the couple created for their guests.  Everyone seemed so happy to be sharing each other’s company after such a trying year.
• Seeing how thoughtful Amy and Kenneth are is really incredible.  They thought of everything in the planning of this wedding.  There was ample opportunity for everyone to feel comfortable and safe even when coming together to celebrate. They even served all of the food in ‘to go’ packages so that their guests could choose their own comfort level as they ate.  So wonderful to meet a couple who truly care about all of the people around them! Both the food and flowers were fantastic!!!

It was a true honor to photograph Amy & Kenneth wedding. They are such special human beings and I am glad I got to be there to celebrate their love with an amazing group of their nearest and dearest.  What an amazing day!
