A scorching hot spring wedding at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish, WA

I was so excited to photograph Beth and Joel’s wedding in Hidden Meadows in Snohomish a couple of weekends ago. I feel like I’ve got to know Beth pretty well over the last year or so since we first met at the Snohomish Wedding Tour. I think hands down my favorite thing about my job is that I get to meet wonderful people and share some of their most important days with them. Pretty flowers and yummy food are wonderful, but photographing people in love is really where it’s at for me.

A few of my personal highlights from their beautiful Snohomish spring wedding were:

The vows: Quite probably the most heartfelt and beautiful vows I’ve ever heard (and it’ll be no surprise to you to know I’ve heard a lot!!) These two are the real deal and I am excited to see their relationship bloom ever more.

The dance party: We didn’t even get to cut the cake as everyone was having so much fun on the dance floor. It would have been wrong to break up the party – so we didn’t.

The reception space: I’ve photographed at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish many times but it was fun to see it decorated so differently. You can never go wrong with lots of greenery and chandeliers in my humble opinion.

Golden hour photos: It is always a welcome change of pace to sneak outside as the sun is going down. I love helping to make sure my that my couple get some alone time during the whirlwind of their wedding, well and get some extra special photos too.

Beth and Joel, I hope you are having an amazing honeymoon in Portugal. Judging by your instagram stories, it sure looks like you are! Thank you for inviting me to be part of your story and to be there to document it for you to look back on to enjoy for many years to come. I hope you enjoy a selection of your photos.
