Photographing weddings in the rain can be tricky, but on this wedding day we got lucky and were able to take portraits outside! Because of the weather, the wedding ceremony moved inside, and the beautiful barn at Craven Farm made the perfect indoor ceremony space and everything went really smoothly.  Kaylyn, the bride, was super organized and on top of the entire wedding planning process and was fun to work alongside. Not only that, but my goodness did she look beautiful in her wedding dress. What a wonderful day for a wedding celebration!  

Here are some of my personal highlights from the day:

• The color scheme was gorgeous! It made the venue feel cozy and autumnal.
• The look on Aaron’s face as Kaylyn walked down the aisle!  This couple decided not to do a ‘first look’, so it made the moment extra special!
• The flowers were beautiful and it was so clever to use the aisle flowers as centerpieces at the dinner tables later on!
• All of the little homemade touches for the decorating.  There were ribbon chandeliers, cute decorations for the sweetheart table, rustic signage, and beautiful silk flower bridesmaid bouquets!  
• The speeches were so heartfelt!  Aaron’s father read a letter that he wrote as he left for college and it was so sweet!!
• There was See’s candy!! I have been hooked on See’s candy since moving to America and this was a wonderful surprise. On top of this, there was a huge dessert table with lots of wonderful little desserts – so tastefully done!
