Amanda and Cody are made for each other. They are so natural and at ease with each other it makes my job of photographing them so easy. Their wedding took place in a unique urban venue in Pioneer Square in Seattle – Court in the Square.
Amanda is amazingly creative and talented and she made all the flowers for the wedding from paper. Can you believe it??? All the bouquets for her and her bridesmaids AND all the centerpieces. I can’t even imagine how much time she spent doing that.
Before the ceremony Cody saw his beautiful bride for the first time in Pioneer Square in downtown Seattle. His reaction was adorable. We then explored the area and took some photographs along the way. It was a busy Saturday with a Mariner and a Sounders game so there where lots of people bustling around. Amanda and Cody’s down to earth and easy going personalities make spending any time with them a joy. The two enjoyed a quick ping pong game in their wedding attire in Occidental Park while a group of naked cyclists passed on by much to the delight of the children surrounding the bride and groom – so very Seattle!
In the evening while the party was going on down below we snuck up to the roof to enjoy the sun going down over the beautiful Seattle skyline. We of course took the opportunity to make some beautiful portraits. I mean Cody and Amanda slow dancing on the roof as the sun goes down – that sounds like a recipe for amazing photos 🙂
