Cynthia and Jeff’s sunny Snohomish wedding last weekend was just beautiful. The wedding was held at Greengates at Flowing Lake which has quickly become one of my favorite wedding venues. It’s on a beautiful lake right down the road from me, it has lots of great spaces for photography and the owners are really friendly. Lucky for me this is the first of three weddings that I will be photographing here this summer!
My personal highlights of the day were:
Alpacas during cocktail hour – As a nod to Cynthia coming from Peru, the bride and groom arranged for alpacas to come during the cocktail to hang out with their guests. Cocktails, apps and alpacas does it get any better than that?? One of the alpacas were a little put out when they realized the bride’s flowers were made out of wood and that she couldn’t eat them. Scroll down to see the photos.
Golden hour at the lake – it’s always fun to sneak away during the reception to spend a little quiet time and make some photos as the sun is going down.
It was an international feeling wedding with lots of guests coming in from Peru where Cynthia the bride is from, I always love to hear people around me speaking different languages.
I hope you enjoy a handful of the photos from their wedding and please feel free to leave Cynthia and Jeff a note in the comments below.
