You know it’s going to be a good evening when your clients greet you in the forest with big smiles and a box of raspberries they had just picked from their garden as a thoughtful gift. My absolute favorite thing to eat in the whole world are raspberries especially home grown ones so thank you again Jen & Phil!
These two are so clearly head over heels for each other, the way they look at each other is just so lovely to see. It’s like no one else exists, just the two of them in their happy little bubble. Jen & Phil live in West Seattle and we started their shoot in Schmitz Park nearby to their home. Schmitz Park is a beautiful little forest right in the middle of West Seattle, it has old growth trees. I just love being in the forest, especially if they have great big old trees. Unfortunately it wasn’t just us enjoying the lovely park but also a gazillion mosquitos too. We lasted about 45 minutes before the swarms of the pesky little pests got the better of us. It reminded me of being in the everglades in Florida in the summer – blugh.
Next stop for us was Camp Long, which was a new location for me. Really pretty with trees and woods and another great place for photographs. Lastly we stopped by their home a few blocks away, photographed a little more in their cute neighborhood and wrapped up a great shoot. I am really excited for their small intimate wedding next month at their home in West Seattle. It is going to be perfect.
I hope you enjoy looking at a handful of photos from their engagement shoot. Feel free to leave them a note in the comments below, and if you want to see their wedding photos very soon you’ll see them first over on my Facebook page.
