New Years Eve Wedding in Pacific Tower – FareStart in Seattle – Photos by Joanna Monger Photography – Snohomish-based Wedding Photographer

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing an amazing New Years Eve wedding and lively reception party with beautiful views of downtown Seattle and Puget Sound. New Years Eve 2015 was one of those beautiful cold and crisp winter days that are just magic. I don’t think we could have had asked for better views of Seattle and Puget Sound from the venue. Being up in Pacific Tower on Beacon Hill was just gorgeous, even better than the Space Needle in my humble opinion.

I met Callie and Taylor in The Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown Seattle where there were getting ready and then we went to Beacon Hill for their first look and then the ceremony and reception was on the 8th floor of Pacific Tower.

The catering was done by Fare Start and the food was just amazing. One of the many perks of being a wedding photographer is that I have the pleasure of eating lots of wonderful food at weddings prepared by amazing caterers. The food by FareStart was outstanding! I’m not sure what they did to those vegetables, but I could have easily eaten a whole plate of just broccoli and it’s not often I can say that.

Callie and Taylor are such a sweet couple and I have loved getting to know them ever since we did their engagement photos back in the summer. It’s such a blessing to be involved during some of the most intimate, happy times of people’s lives and it is always such a honor to me that people trust me with such an important job.

I hope you enjoy looking at a selection of the photographs from Callie & Taylor’s NYE wedding. If you were lucky enough to be at the wedding you will know how much fun it was, these guys did not let anyone down as far as NYE parties go. Shout out to Brian Osborn who was a fantastic DJ and kept the dance floor full all night! Thank you Taylor, Callie and all their friends and family who made their special day possible.
