A Sunny, Spring PNW Engagement Session

I knew the minute that I met Glen and Ace that they were a special couple. There’s an ease about their relationship that fits so well, like two kindred people completely in tune. One of my favorite things is capturing connections such as theirs, so I was overjoyed when they chose me as their wedding photographer. After anxiously waiting all winter to shoot their engagement session, we met again on St. Patrick’s Day, which coincidentally is also the anniversary of their first date! Turns out, we couldn’t have chosen a day with better weather for their outdoor spring engagement shoot. The beauty of the season was on full display, making a gorgeous backdrop for their photos.

With their shared love of the outdoors in mind, we drove to a quiet spot by the river, nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. This was my first spring outdoor shoot, and it felt so good to be in the warm sun again, exploring nature with such a lovely couple.

Glen and Ace will be married in August at Falling Water Gardens, a beautiful garden and aquatic nursery in Monroe, WA. I can’t wait to photograph these two again, but in the meantime, please enjoy a few photos from their engagement session. I’m thrilled with how the photos turned out, and I hope you love them too.
