An Outdoor Winter Wonderland Engagement Session

There’s something so magical about a snowy winter engagement photo shoot. The feel of it crunching underneath my boots, the quiet stillness of the surrounding beauty, and the chance to photograph two people deeply in love-I adore it all!

Visiting the PNW from New York City, I spent the day with Jeff and Kalie bundled up at Snoqualmie Pass, a popular mountain within the Cascade Range near Seattle, WA. Fresh powder had blanketed the area, a tempting invitation to an impromptu snowball fight (which, yes, I did capture on camera!). Halfway into the session, it started snowing again, making for more beautiful photos. I can’t think of an engaged couple I’d rather trudge through the mountains with. The day was perfect and so very, very fun!

They’ll be married next June at Twin Willows, a gorgeous wedding venue in Snohomish, WA. I’m anxious to photograph these two again but until that time, please enjoy a few photos from their snowy winter engagement shoot at Snoqualmie Pass.
