Stevens Pass Engagement Photos

It dawned on me that I didn’t finish writing this blog post!  As these two lovely people are getting married tomorrow, I thought I had better get on that!

Kate and Jon love to travel and explore.  They decided that they wanted to do their photos in the snow last winter. We had to do quite a bit of driving, but we found some snow up by Stevens Pass. It was a really fun day out.  I enjoyed getting to know these two better as we explored the mountains looking for some good spots.

It seemed that everyone and their dog were playing up at Stevens Pass that day. ALL of the car parks were full, so we had to get a little creative and ended up finding the perfect location away from everyone. Well, almost everyone.  Right as we started shooting, a guy in just his underpants slid down the hillside on his belly. I wasn’t expecting that. I had a new appreciation for my snowboarding pants and snow boots 🙂  After out snowy shoot, we stopped off at a couple of my favorite secret spots on the way back along highway 2. I used to live along there, so I know it pretty well.

Kate and Jon’s big day has come along quickly, and I am excited to see their big plans come together tomorrow at Dairyland in Snohomish. Kate has been planning this day for a long time and has really gone all out with her DIY ideas. You are just going to have to wait and see the blog post from their wedding. I promise it wont take me 9 months to get it up this time! Or you could check out my IG stories tomorrow, and I’ll do my best to post there.
